How it works

Each image fits inside your chosen box without cropping, stretching or enlarging. A 2,400 × 1,600 image fitted inside 1,200 × 1,200 becomes 1,200 × 800. Choose dimensions appropriate to the space an image occupies on your website.

What to check before using the result

Resizing changes pixels, not your webpage’s CSS. Dimensions may round by one pixel. Check transparency and compression when selecting a format. Original metadata and animation are not retained.
