How to use this tool

How it works

Smaller website images can reduce transfer size. This tool redraws the image in your browser and exports a new file. JPEG and WebP quality controls trade detail for size; reducing dimensions can help further. Every result shows the actual byte difference, including when a file grows.

What to check before using the result

This is not a lossless optimiser. PNG ignores the quality slider, and re-encoding can increase size. JPEG flattens transparency against white. Animation and source metadata are not preserved. Limits: 20 files, 20 MB each and 40 megapixels per decoded image.
