How to use this calculator
- Enter values with a consistent currency and reporting period.
- Calculate to see the result and supporting figures.
- Review the formula and assumptions before using the result.
The formula, explained
At 50 per order, four purchases per year and a three-year lifespan, estimated revenue LTV is 600. At a 40% gross margin, the gross-profit estimate is 240 before acquisition costs and other omitted expenses.
Example inputs: average order value 50; purchases per year 4; customer lifespan in years 3; gross margin percentage 40. Result: 600 revenue LTV.
What to check before using the result
This simple average-based model assumes stable behaviour. It does not discount future cash flow, model cohorts or account for changes in retention. Treat the result as an assumption-driven estimate rather than a measured customer value.
