How to use this tool

How it works

Percent encoding makes characters safe within a URL component. “summer sale” becomes “summer%20sale”. Encoding a whole URL also encodes slashes and punctuation, useful for a nested destination parameter.

What to check before using the result

This is a component encoder, not a URL validator. Standard decoding leaves + unchanged; form decoding treats it as a space. Malformed percent escapes produce an error. Use the UTM builder to construct a complete campaign URL.
