A QR image cannot change after it is printed. But if it encodes a managed short link, that short link can point somewhere new. Edit the destination in your account and keep the slug unchanged.
This hosted version depends on Visitor Tracking, the link and its destination remaining available. It is different from our public static QR generator, which encodes your chosen URL directly and adds no redirect of its own.
Compare with a direct static QR code ↗The redirect can record a request when someone opens the short link. A camera preview that never opens it is not a recorded website visit. Repeat requests, automated previews and collection failures can affect the totals.
Use separate links for different placements if you want to compare them. For activity after arrival, add UTM labels to the destination and install website analytics there. Link traffic and destination pageviews measure different steps, so their totals need not match.
